The designers of the shoes believe that When the body is unstable, the body is stronger, which becomes the main designing principle.

With the crescent moon sole, when walking in MBT.s, the ground is no longer flat and stable. The body has to use more muscles to compensate and create stability. This is very similar to the situations for the Masai people.It activates the whole body, increases muscle activity, improves posture, tightens buttocks and thighs, reducing stress on the ankle, knee and hip joints. This transforms the act of walking into a more continuous and fluid movement instead of one made of sudden shocks and jolts that unduly impact the body from the legs to the neck.

There are couple of thing you need to do with your MBT Shoes.

First thing is that you should not wear MBTs on natural uneven grounds.You are not Masai people and MBT shoes are not for those situations.

Secondly, you should walk 3-4 miles in them every day.But this is only suggestion and totally up to you.

Thirdly, you need to take some time to get used to them.It usually takes 30 minutes.Don’t give up before that.
